Summary/Purpose:
To provide a comprehensive
medical service on the offshore
installations in accordance with
statutory requirements and
Company standards. This will
include responding to ill or injured
personnel. Supervising and
training Advanced First Aider /
first Aiders and Triage personnel
in the event of an incident/
accident.
Offshore Medic - Job Outline
& Challenges:
Provide primary and
emergency health care to
injured and ill personnel,
following an accident or major
incident, or acute illness.
Reporting to the Occupational
Health Team Leader for clinical
matters
Responsible for maintaining the
platforms medical facilities, first
aid equipment and triage areas
in a high state of operational
readiness.
