Diamond Offshore General Company, a large international
offshore drilling contractor, seeks to appoint two Safety
Department Representatives / Medics on one of our Australian rigs
that is under contract with a reputable client.
In this role you will be responsible for;
Provide training on the vessel safety case requirements, Company
safety systems, hazard identification and controls.
Provide on-site first aid and first response medical assistance and
triage.
Pre-pare and maintain accurate records and reports.
Conduct incident investigations.
Provide orientation to the rig to all new employees or visitors.
Maintain emergency medical equipment.
Undertake audits and inspections.
Assist in safety meetings and drills.
Minimum Experience/Education Level Required
2-3 years experience in a similar role in the offshore drilling
industry.
Must be a qualified Paramedic or equivalent.
Proficient in Incident Investigation and associated reporting.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Australian Safety Case
regime.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
