Job Requirements:
Provide health care services to
patients. Coordinate with US Government, contract, or host-nation care
providers. Examine patient, perform comprehensive physical examination,
and compile patient medical data, including health history and results
of physical examination. Interpret test results for deviations from
normal. Perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing
and wound care, and scheduled random drug screening. Develop and
implement patient management plans, records progress notes, and assist
in provision of continuity of care. Instruct and counsel patients
regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, emotional
problems of daily living, and health maintenance. Knowledge and practice
of Emergency Preparedness, Safety and Security, Infection Control,
Patient Rights, Risk Management, etc. Must demonstrate safe and
effective use of oxygen, Doppler, crash cart, defibrillator, IV, etc.
Maintain local medical standard operating procedures in accordance with
Home Office procedures. Provide management oversight for task order
medical operations. Supervise task order medical staff. Provide training
support oversight to task order personnel.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in related field;
possess a current Physician’s Assistant license (or equivalent). Basic
Life Support (BLS) Card (or equivalent). Minimum 1 year experience as a
Physician Assistant or similar Medical Management experience preferred. Global experience preferred.
