ALS Medical Provider, ER Nurses & ParamedicsRemote Medical International’s Medical Support Group is currently hiring Paramedics and Nurses for international assignment in a variety of locations around the world.
If selected as a provider with RMI, you will work with a variety of industries providing medical care and rescue services all over the world as part of a high-performance team of Project Managers, Medical Directors, and others. As a part of this team, it is not uncommon to be on a different continent every rotation. You will also be involved in a wide variety of operations including technical rescue, maritime, or medevac by aircraft.
Although the job is glamorous, it is also very strenuous and demanding. You may find yourself on regular rotations aboard a ship, in a tent in Antarctica, or following a film crew in Africa. You will most likely work on five week rotations, five weeks abroad and five weeks home. Short-term deployments are also very common and range from several days to several months.
Successful candidates are physically fit, team players, very comfortable with foreign travel, and work well within a multi-cultural environment. A demonstrated history of self-improvement, strong command of medicine, and exceptional medical and rescue skills are also requirements of the job.
As part of the application process, all candidates are required to enter through the Medical Support Group Selection Program, which is set to take place in mid 2012. Candidates are responsible for all travel to and from the site. Food and lodging will be provided by RMI during the program. Regardless if you are selected for future employment or not, all will receive approximately twenty-hours of continuing medical education for participation in the program. This is an invite only event.
Minimum Requirements for Entry in Selection
currently licensed as a EMT, Paramedic, Nurse or equivalent with minimum two years experience (preferably 5 years or more).
BLS, ACLS and PHTLS (or ITLS) certifications.
ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
ability to travel internationally without restriction.
Compensation
Compensation is very competitive. Full-time employees receive a regular salary, performance bonuses, ability to participate in RMI’s 401(k) program, and a comprehensive health benefit package. In addition, all employees are entitled to company-funded training and advancement.

The Medical Support Group Selection Program is an invite only event. You will receive a notification from our office if you are selected to attend.
What happens after selection?
All applicants will be placed in a rank-order based on original application materials submitted and performance at the Selection Program. Remote Medical International will make employment offers directly off this list when a position becomes available.
Once hired, all new employees are required to complete a multi-day training program as well as online education prior to deployment.
