About the Role:
Working as a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency and primary health care for hotel visitors and staff. Perform administrative duties pertaining to the provision of health care and operation of the clinic. Reporting directly into the Director of Rooms, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Main Duties:
1. Provide rapid intervention and management in the event of emergencies, and the treatment for critically injured or ill patients, according to competency with attention to detail and in a prompt timely manner.
2. Provide emergency medical care within the SBU and immediate surroundings.
3. Advise guests of alternative methods of arranging medicine not available in the clinic. [i.e. Through concierge]
4. Clearly and accurately communicate relevant information regarding patient condition and care on referral of a patient for definitive care.
5. Assist in promoting ongoing health care to colleagues and show full teamwork.
6. Ensure that you have the patient's wellbeing at heart and follow through on any medical treatment received from outside the SBU. [i.e. if hospitalized]
7. Show Integrity and respect at all times to make the clinic a place that is approachable by all.
8. Provide support to colleagues, patients and their families in traumatic situations.
9. Maintain clear, accurate and updated records pertaining to patient care and actions taken, medical, healthcare and safety issues.
10. Attend any training, workshops, or meetings as requested by Paramedic manager.
About You:
Having AEA or CCA qualification, you must be able to demonstrate at least 2 years proven experience in a five star international chain. You must also demonstrate Problem Solving & Decision Making Skills.
You will be a highly driven and motivated individual with a good knowledge and understanding of kitchen operations.
With a good command of the English language, verbal and written, you will also have a working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
