We currently have a position for a Safety Officer/Medic for a vessel in the North Sea. Within this position you will be responsible for managing all offshore medical care including maintaining records and producing reports whilst ensuring medical facilities and medicines are up-to date and accurate. You may also be required to conduct accident and incident investigations adhering to company protocols and operating guidelines.
Through your experience you will be able to propose recommendations and improvements to the Vessel Master and Party Chief so it is essential that you are an experienced offshore medic with either NHS or Military background. Along with your standard offshore certificates you are required to hold a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.
