Job Description
Position Available: Need someone with a Solid Operations Background to Run a Safety and Health Program Overseas:
Strong operational background that will enhance the implementation of safety and occupational health programs across the full continuum of training, operations, sustainment and maintenance. Must have a solid background as a leader/ manager and a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. Problem solving and proven ability to function as part of a team are a must. In broad terms this position requires developing and administering occupational safety and health programs including mishap investigation, reporting and recordkeeping; inspection, occupational health, blood borne pathogens, respiratory protection, personal protective equipment, hearing, sight, worksite assessments, job safety analysis, and plan reviews; asbestos, lead, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, laser, man-made vitreous fibers and indoor air quality; weight and material handling equipment, fall protection, ergonomics; recreational and off-duty safety; traffic, motorcycle, and driver improvement. This position supports an overseas contract and will require a Secret clearance (minimum) and a one year commitment. Salary is very competitive and off-base lodging, and periodic R&Rs are included.
