To be considered for this Sr. Medic position an
individual must meet one of the following two
background criteria:
Qualified by 1. The Paramedic background or
qualified by 2. The nurse background. See below:
Provides first aid, emergency medical services,
health examinations, or nursing services to
employees. Interacts with injury management,
workers compensation, and outside compensation
providers. Gives information to employees in
health education and illness prevention. Prepares,
maintains, records, accident reports, and
statistical data associated with incidents, health
history, and injuries occurring at worksite.
Maintains inventory of EMS equipment and first
aid supplies. Assists in performing drug and
alcohol testing at worksite, overseeing other
health issues such as drinking water, food
preparations, and safety of living areas. Under
general supervision, performs duties by following
established procedures. Provides healthcare to
employees at many locations. Exercises judgment
within generally defined procedures and current
regulations in selecting methods and techniques
for treatment. Candidate preferably has a
knowledge of techniques used in this QHSE
specialization, such as OSHA occupational medical
requirements. Applies knowledge to work scope.
Skills required for this job are acquired by a
Certification as an Emergency Medical-Paramedic
or RN, with appropriate licensure/certification,
and 3-5 years of experience after being
paramedic certified. RN candidates must have 3
years of ER or ICU/CCU experience . Candidate
must maintain healthcare provider certification
and BLS, ACLS, and PHTLS or ITLS certifications.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PHTS or ITLS
certifications are required.
CCEMT-P / CCP / FP-C preferred, but not required.
To be considered for this position an individual
must also meet one of the following background
criteria:
1- Paramedic
Minimum 3-5 years experience at the Paramedic
level
EMT-P certification (good through period of
employment)
ACLS certification (good through period of
employment)
BTLS, PHTLS or ITLS certification (good through
period of employment)
BLS or CPR or Health Care Provider (good through
period of employment)
Clinical experience a plus.
Remote experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word,
Excel and Outlook)
OR:
2- Nurse RN
Minimum 3-5 years experience as a registered
nurse in critical care, ICU, Flight Nurse or
emergency room.
Possess current State Registered Nurses
Certification (good through period of
employment)
Good clinical skills required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word,
Excel and Outlook)
ACLS, BTLS, PHTLS or ITLS and BLS or CPR Health
Care Provider required.
Remote medical experience preferred
Additional requirements:
Must hold (or be eligible to hold) a NACI
Must be fluent in English
Must possess passport book (not passport card)
with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND
with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver s license with at least 6
months of remaining validity
