Roles & responsibilities
- conduct morning and evening safety meetings.
- orientate all incoming personnel and keep current personnel on board list.
- make frequent walk a rounds looking for any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts. Make sure there are no trip hazards
- perform rig audits
- perform hazard hunts and track action items of equipment that need repair.
- track all hot work permits.
- track all observations that are turned in and trend stats.
- track and discuss any stop work incidents.
- participate in all emergency drills and respond to level of training.
- document all well control drills and archive for possible government inspections.
- observe daily activities making sure rig personnel are follow company policies and procedures.
- participate in all government and regulatory rig site inspections. Monitor any actions items that are a result of the inspection.
- participate in incident investigations & root cause analysis reports.
Requirements:
Must be a paramedic
must live in west texas / east new mexico
must have at least 10 years of hse experience
