Medical Coordinators (paramedics/nurses) - Libya

MAG has been working in Libya since 2011 following the revolution, which left communities at risk of landmines, unexploded ordnance and poorly stored ammunitions.

Since 2011, MAG has developed a large programme aimed at decreasing the risk to communities, by clearing land and removing and destroying items of exploded ordnance. To date, MAG has also delivered 824 risk education safety sessions to local communities, further reducing the threat to the life and limb of local populations.

Due to continuing expansion, MAG is seeking to recruit a number of international medical coordinators to support our EOD teams in Libya. You will be responsible for providing medical support to clearance operations of suspected areas as part of a Mine Action Team.

Successful candidates will need an internationally recognised medical qualification and substantial trauma experience, including experience working in remote, post conflict locations as a trauma medic.

You will need fluent English language skills and be able to work in a challenging environment and politically sensitive environment. Successful candidates should also possess an international driving licence.
