Urgent - Ebola Crisis Doctors Required

International SOS Medical Services works with global oil, gas, mining and energy corporations in assessing the health risks and safety of their onsite employees working in some of the most remote operational environments. Due to continued growth within the Africa region we are currently seeking interest from both experienced and new to the industry candidates for future requirements in key locations including Mozambique, Kenya, DRC, Angola and Madagascar.

Each remote site clinic provides both primary and emergency healthcare services to the client’s onsite employee population.



POSITION OVERVIEW

Due to the Ebola outbreak in Liberia, International SOS is looking to recruit practising doctors who ideally have experience within an Infection Control Unit.

An Infection Control Unit is to be setup on one of International SOS' client sites, and therefore you must be prepared to attend Ebola training, carry-out training to other staff, assist with the setup of the Unit and manage Ebola cases.

The position is to commence within the next four weeks, and will be based on a fixed term contract for a period of approx. 6 months.

The position will be rotational - ie 6 weeks on duty and 6 weeks off duty, however flexibility in rotation is required.

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

•Registered doctor a minimum of 5 years plus experience with primary care and emergency medicine.

•Remote site experience desirable but not essential.

•Previously worked for or trained by MSF (beneficial but not mandatory)
