One of the largest charities in America, OBI provides strategic relief in 37 countries on an ongoing basis through core programs such as disaster relief, health and medical care, hunger relief, vulnerable children and orphan care, safe water and community development.

OBI is seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide strategic planning, development, technical oversight and general management to OBI health programs.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

· Experience in non-profit, humanitarian development assistance

· Experience in community development and health-related programs

· Working knowledge of, and sensitivity to, cross-cultural environments and customs

· Strong ability to assess resources, plan, track, and report project status and outcomes

· Excellent logistical, decision making and problem solving skills

· Ability to take initiative, be innovative, work independently and be an effective team player

· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

· Computer proficiency with thorough understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel

· Strong organizational, analytical and time-management skills

· Christian commitment to serving the poor and in full agreement with OBI’s Christian foundation and beliefs as expressed in our Vision and Mission

· Ability to travel, both international and domestic

· Health professional with an MPH preferred
