PAE is currently seeking a Medic to support MVM contract in South Sudan.

Responsibilities:

The Medic will: - Liaison between patients, doctors, ward staff and emergency services - Provide Patient care - Maintain accurate patient records and hospital documentation as required - Provide training, mentoring to the staff - Provide medical emergency care to PAE staff - Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should qualify for below criteria: - 3- 5 years Trauma/Emergency unit experience - Should be competent in CPR and clinical procedures - Willingness to work shifts, night duty as well as weekends - Good communication skills - Ability to function effectively under pressure - Experience in post-conflict countries is required; Africa experience strongly preferred - Willingness and ability to live and work in remote and austere conditions is required - Ability to operate independently in austere environment for protracted periods and willing to transfer to other missions as required - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environment are required.
