Community Health Paramedic (Afghanistan)

The Role: 
Are you a paramedic seeking an adventurous career? Then this position could be for you! You would be located in a clinic setting on a military or U.S. Government compound. You would conduct Fit For Duty (FFD) examinations, support occupational health programs, and occasionally administer vaccines. Ideally, you should have experience operating in an emergency room, urgent care or community health setting. Ideally, you are someone that is interested in public health and providing administrative support to ensure the successful implementation of various health related programs.

Location:
The office you would be operating in would be located within Afghanistan on a U.S. Government facility. Candidates should be aware of the inherent risk that comes with providing medical support in conflict-prone regions.

Rotations:
6-month rotations
 
Position Qualifications

2+ years of general experience as a paramedic
Currently licensed as an NREMT-Paramedic or country equivalent
Willingness to complete 6-month rotations
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Proficient with electronic medical records and related software
Current BLS & ACLS
Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a clinic setting (urgent care, emergency room, etc)
Attended Community Health-Paramedic program or similar training/experience
