Overview:


SRD is a registered organization in USA, we are working in north and south of Syria, our scope is the emergency response, health, Protection, Shelter & NFI, development projects. SRD Turkey Office is seeking to Health Project Coordinator to support this humanitarian programming.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Management

· Work closely with the Health Project Manager, senior management and field teams to determine the operational needs of the medical program within the scope of the grants.

· Work closely with the medical doctors and health teams to determine the needs of the medical staff.

· Collaborate with the health Projects Manager authorities and relevant international health agencies for the development of an approved curriculum to meet training needs and implement those plans through the management team and field teams.

· Work with the program team and health teams to design and implement a reporting system to monitor and evaluate the objectives, indicators and outcomes of the country programs as well as trends in mortality and morbidity.

· Review and provide input for monthly field reports in order to analyze trends and adjust the programs as needed.

· Work with Local health authorities and international agencies such as WHO to ensure implementation of standardized national health information systems

· Work with Health Projects manager , field team, partnering agencies and national health authorities for outbreak preparedness and contingency planning.

· Work with management team to draft concepts for future funding following the protocols and formats of each relevant donor

· Work with field teams and logistics and the procurement department in a timely manner to ensure adequate supply based on site consumption while adhering to national protocols and program budgets.

Representation:

· Attend health coordination meetings as well as other coordination meetings which are relevant to country programs.

· Represent the organization at task force meetings, assessment missions, camp coordination meetings.

· Serve as a liaison with MOH on matters related to the program to ensure programmatic accountability

· Ensure maximum visibility of the agency amongst the NGO community.

· Lead the production of reports at site and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of information provided, as well ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.

· Contribute to the creation of a positive image and overall credibility of the organization, notably through the application of the organizations Code of Conduct, ethics, values and stand-point with regard to internal and external actors.

Coordination

· Maintain frequent communication with Country Director or Medical Director to ensure program activities and objectives are communicated

· Work with Director of operation and Logistics staff to ensure the coordination of programs supplies are within budgeted targets.

· Attend coordination meetings which are relevant to country activities or as assigned.

· Interface with national government and as necessary.

Others:

· Ensures application and compliance of security protocols and policies

· Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within Syria Relief and Development amongst beneficiaries served by SRD.

QUALIFICATIONS • BA/BSC in a medical Degree or relevant field. At least 1 years’ work experience or similar: Experience of project management or international development/humanitarian and NGO sector works would be an advantage.
• Must have excellent communications skills, both oral and written
• Must have excellent self-motivation skills
• Ability to relate to and motivate staff effectively.
• Creativity and the ability to work with limited resources.
• Excellent decision making skills.
• Strong English Conversation writing and presentation skills.
