Location:Beirut and Mount Lebanon
Main Activities:
Participate to the loading and unloading and to the setting up of the mobile medical unit.
Ensure that needed items for mobile medical unit activities are ready before leaving the primary healthcare center.
Prepare and update on a regular basis the lists of drugs, materials, furniture and stationeries needed the mobile medical unit.
Update all the forms and documents needed for the mobile medical unit.
Medical Activities:
Follow the basic medical rules of hygiene.
Draws blood for laboratory testing and ensures that the sample colllected are maintained carefully according to the standards.
Take the vital signs (weight, temperature, blood pressure and pulse).
Perform any other needed nursing activity.
Explain the treatment to the patient and give individual health education related to the patient’s disease.
Organization and data collection:
Perform triage activities.
Fill in data required for data analysis according to the list provided (Diagnosis …).
Collect, analyze and send the daily data and reports.
Medication management:
Distribute acute medications according to the medical prescription.
Ask the medical doctor to complete their prescription in case of incomplete information (dosage, administration,…).
Indicate the dosage of the drugs on the drug boxes or bags.
Explain to the patient how to take his treatment.
Perform daily inventory of the mobile medical unit medications.
