Job Description
In this role, you will manage the Shell Health unit, together with the Shell Health Manager for Singapore. You are responsible to advise on clinical, occupational, community and environmental health issues associated with business activities and living environment at the Shell Bukom Manufacturing Site.
Line management and budget of Bukom Shell Health unit.
Manage the Bukom Shell Health skill pool in conjunction with the SH Manager Singapore as appropriate.
Advise on clinical, occupational, community and environmental health issues associated with business activities and the living environment, which may have litigation, reputation or other business risk.
Health Focal Point in Bukom for various external stakeholders such as government, NGOs, and local communities.
Assure alignment with Group health standards, procedures, and processes.
Assure compliance with relevant health legislation in Singapore.
Contract holder for all local health service providers, including quality assurance of these services and oversight of operations.
Monitoring internal and contractor health programmes, performance and standards.
Ensure embedding of HSSE & SP control framework requirements, standards and classifications within Bukom Business Units.
Provide support for other Shell Business units operating in Singapore where appropriate.
Requirements
Medical Degree and Certified postgraduate qualifications in one of the relevant health disciplines/sciences is preferred. Registered with the Singapore Medical Council.
At least 5 years’ experience in a broad health area.
Registered Workplace Doctor (RWD) status with Ministry of Manpower and/or Masters in Occupational Medicine (or equivalent) is preferred.
