Job Description: The Education Coordinator is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating education for EMT/Paramedic and refresher/continuing education classes. Specific duties include: curricula development and lesson planning, development and delivery of continuing education courses for Acadian employees, maintenance of ongoing CE programs through State EMS offices, delivery of course material locally and/or over the distance learning system to satellite sites, and evaluation of the effectiveness of both lesson content and the educational delivery system and methods. Additional site-specific duties may be required.
Qualifications: National Registry and State certified paramedic with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience. Associate degree or higher preferred. Current instructor certifications with respective state and American Heart Association (BLS and ACLS). Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and meet multiple concurrent deadlines independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must.
