About MSF:
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an International, independently funded, non-profit, humanitarian medical organization that offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural and man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. In Taiz Houban, MSF is supporting the governorate with a “Mother and Child Healthcare Hospital” (MCH) and a Trauma Centre next to some emergency activities. MSF is currently recruiting the following position based in MCH Taiz Houban:

Main purpose
Provide outpatient, ER and/or inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiaries health conditions.
Duration: (3 months temporary contract) 

Accountabilities
Apply medical knowledge and skills for diagnose and prevention. Carry out outpatient, ER and/or inpatient consultations (depending on scheduled work location), prescribing the necessary treatment, while respecting MSF protocols. Perform minor surgical procedures/ chest tube insertion and intubation etc. as per MSF guidelines.
Keep the patient and/or his/her family promptly informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood.
Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized patients, through daily visits/ward rounds, consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments – in collaboration with other doctors- and informing their family about the patient’s evolution.
Organizing and facilitating referrals of patients to other health facilities in consultation with Expat MD and Medical Team Leader as per MSF guidelines and referral policy.
Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material. Assure general compliance with standing hygiene standards.
Ensure proper documentation of medical data and filing system. Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or medical team leader about any problem or complication of the patients illness, medical error and monitors the proper functioning of the department, equipment or material.
Ensure ongoing training of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team in order to optimize the quality of care.
Know and ensure all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are followed at all times and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control.
Ensures professional confidentiality and medical ethics are respected.
Know and be aware of the importance and appropriate use of the Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) Kit.
Staff are not allowed to chew QAT during working hours.
Under no circumstances are firearms/weapons allowed in MSF vehicles or on MSF premises.
The above-mentioned activities and responsibilities are not exhaustive, and staff may be assigned additional responsibilities or tasks as required

Requirements
Education Medical Doctor diploma, registration with medical board in Yemen essential.
Experience 2 year experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training). Desirable post-registration experience in maternity.

Clinical skills with demonstrable experience in coaching and training others.
Languages :Arabic and English essential.
Knowledge :Essential computer literacy (word, excel)
Competencies :Result- and solution oriented, teamwork, flexibility, commitment, service-oriented
Flexible and independent work capacity to adapt a flexible work schedule. Willing to accept rotation to work in other departments as needed.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload and being initiative.
Good communication skills and respectful and calm behavior vis-à-vis the local community, patients and caretakers.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the governorate if requested.

توفير العيادات الخارجية، ,وغرفة الطوارى و / أو الرعاية الطبية داخل المستشفى للمرضى / المستفيدين حسب معرفة حاله تكيفها وتحديثها وفقاً لبروتوكولات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود والقيم والمعايير الصحية العالمية لتحسين الظروف الصحية للمرضى / المستفيدين .

المسؤوليات :
تطبيق المهارات والمعرفه الطبية للتشخيص والوقاية. تنفيذ الاستشارات للعيادات الخارجية، غرفة الطوارئ و / أو المرضى الداخليين (اعتمادا على موقع العمل المقرر)، ووصف العلاج اللازم، مع احترام بروتوكولات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود إجراء عمليات جراحية بسيطة /إدراج انبوب الصدر الخ وفقا لارشادات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود.
إبقاء المرضى واسرهم على علم بالمرض وتوفير شرح بكيفيه المعالجه والتحقق من فهمها.
متابعة تطور حالة المرضى في المستشفيات / ,وغرفة الرقود من خلال الزيارات اليومية / الجولات والاستشارات والامتحانات، ووصف العلاج اللازم وفق بروتوكولات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود، وتقرير ما إذا كان يمكن احالتها أو نقلها إلى الاقسام الأخرى - بالتعاون مع الاطباء- إبلاغ أسرهم حول تطور حالة المريض.
تنظيم وتسهيل إحالة المرضى إلى المرافق الصحية الأخرى بعد استشارة الطبيب الاجنبي و قائد الفريق الطبي وفقا لتوجيهات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود وسياسة الإحالة.
التأكد والسيطرة على التوزيع الرشيد للأدوية والمعدات تحت تصرفه والحرص على جودة وتطهير وتعقيم المواد الطبية و ضمان الامتثال العام لمعايير النظافة.
التأكد من صحه ادراج البيانات الطبية في الوثائق و المشاركة في جمع وتحليل البيانات الوبائية، والتحقق من صحتها وإبلاغ المسؤول المباشر أو رئيس الفريق الطبي عن أي مشكلة أو مضاعفات يواجهها المرضى او اي خطأ طبي ومراقبة حسن سير العمل في القسم من ناحيه المعدات أو المواد.
ضمان التدريب المستمر للفريق الطبي/ المساعدة الطبية متعدد التخصصات من أجل تحسين نوعية الرعاية.
المعرفة والتأكد من أن كل البروتوكولات الطبية التى تخص منظمة أطباء بلا حدود يتم اتباعها وتنفيذها، و التاكد من اتباع فحص الاحتياطات العالمية في جميع الأوقات والحد من المخاطر الخطر الحيوي وتحسين مكافحة العدوى.
ضمان السرية المهنية واحترام أخلاقيات مهنة الطب.
المعرفة والاحاطه باهميه وحسن استخدام الادوية الوقائيه (PEP).
غير مسموح لطاقم العمل بتناول القات خلال ساعات الدوام
غير مسموح وتحت أي ظرف إدخال وحيازة اسلحة نارية على سيارات أطباء بلا حدود أو مبانيها .

المتطلبات
دبلوم في الطب، التسجيل في هيئة طبية في اليمن اساسي. التعليم
خبرة سنتين كحد ادنى كطبيب أو في عيادة ( يمكن ان يكون تدريب طبي )
يفضل خبره بعد التسجيل في التعامل مع قسم الامومة, مهارات سريرية مع خبرة مثبته في تدريب وتوجيه الاخرين. خبرات العمل
اللغه العربيه والانجليزيه مطلوبة
امكانيه استخدام الكمبيوتر ( ورد، اكسل)
النتائج والقدره على حل المشاكل، العمل الجماعي,المرونة, الالتزام, والخدمة.
المرونه والاعتماد الذاتي في التكيف مع جدول العمل والاستجابه لاي عمل في الاقسام الاخرى عند الحاجة.
القدره على ترتيب الاولويات والمبادرة عند ضغط العمل.
مهارات تواصل عاليه و تصرفاته هادئه والقدره على مواجه عامة الناس والمرضى ومرافقين المرضى وجها لوجه.
القدرة والاستعداد للسفر داخل المحافظة عند الطلب.
