The Role
The medic will be responsible for operational and tactical expertise relating to the development and administration of efficient and professional operations of Occupational Medicine, Health care and
Emergency care services in accordance with company policies, practices, procedures and applicable regulations.
Your Responsibilities:
Delivering administrative and operational activities of Health and Emergency Care services;
Responsible for assuring the appropriate access and utilization of healthcare services;
Responsible for assistance in occupational medicines programs by performing different testing and sampling methods for the different risks in compliance with international regulations;
Provide appropriate case management;
Collaborate with Environmental, Health and Safety and Human Resources to develop operations, programs, and services by providing content expertise.
Qualifications
What we look for:
At least 5 years of experience in Nursing (preferably in an Emergency Response role);
Post-secondary education as a registered nurse as a minimum with training and experience in assessing and controlling health risks, and responding to emergencies.
Primary Trauma Care Course and/ or BRUG Course
Additional courses and certification in Emergency Care preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English and Dutch.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form;
Intermediate computer skills are essential in use of an electronic medical record;
Must be detail oriented, have ability to multitask and possess great interpersonal skills.
