Job Description
PSS / Emergency Medical Technician – EMT-P (OCONUS)
Duties
Medic support to client and detail members.
The EMT-P is designated as a protective security specialist.
Conduct protective security operations and provide medic support as required.
Requirements
U.S. Citizen.
Level 3 English proficiency.
Three to five years experience, can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Provincial, Local or commercial entities providing medical services in a high threat environment.
Have experience/knowledge in current TCCC guidelines.
Required to maintain weapons qualification, as outlined in the contract, with the M4, M-9 and familiarization fire for the AK47.
The EMT-P will attend pre-screening and pre-deployment training.
Successfully complete the PSS training requirements CONUS and shall receive extensive ON JOB TRAINING (OJT).
ACLS / ITLS / PHTLS / TCCC Certifications must be valid.
Registration must be valid for the period of deployment.
