Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic (EMTP) ,Iraq

Job Description
The Health Care Service Support – Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.

SCOPE:
The EMT is clinically supervised by the site medical director or other physician extenders on the work site and ultimately reports to the HCSS-Iraq Program Manager

The EMT will be assigned to treat patients in one of three settings: (1) Field Health Unit, (2) Small medical/trauma hospitals, (3) Large medical/trauma hospital and assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician or physician extender.

Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records the information on patients' charts. EMT may be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.

In some settings the EMT-P may be assigned a leadership role as Lead EMT-P.

    Paramedic - Saudi Arabia

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Provision of Emergency and/or Critical Care transfers on a 24-hour basis.
    • Provision of emergency response to VIP patients, 24-hour basis.
    • Responds to Hospital housing, employees, and their dependents on a 24-hour basis.

    Ambulance Servies at the KFSHRC in Jeddah is a mobile intensive care unit, the staff are highly trained and able to provide full ACLS care. The majority of calls are medical based but from time to time the staff's trauma expertise is used in the emergency room.

( UK : MNC,   Netherlands : BIG register, Norway : SAFH). The nurse requirement is because the vessel might also work for Norwegian, Dutch and Danish clients and they may demand that the medic is a Nurse and gained authorisation to work in those countries as a nurse. (In those countries the Offshore Medics Course does not exist and therefore medics need to be nurses with ER or ICU experience). Only a nursing diploma 
    of  Europe EEC will be accepted by the government of these countries.
     
    Also you need to be a the possession of a valid Offshore Medics Course as required in
    the U.K. done at a HSE approved company (Capita, Interdive etc) because the vessel

    Nurse - Cruise Ship

    We are currently accepting applications for Nurse Practitioners.
    The Nursing team on-board one of our magnificent ships is responsible for the administration of the Medical Center, providing occupational and emergency care to a ship population of 2,500 to 3,000 guests and crew members.
    We are looking for Nurse Practitioners who feel equally comfortable being the first responder in an emergency and doing administrative work who have practical experience running ACLS protocols.
    Nurses live on-board our ships for assignments of 14 weeks with vacations of about 7 weeks at a time. This is a full time position.
    Requirements:
    We require a minimum of 3 years clinical N.P. experience, the ability to treat a broad range of medical conditions, along with impeccable interpersonal communication skills.
    Experience:
    • A minimum of three years clinical experience after graduation.
    • Practical experience in ACLS
    • Prefer background in Emergency Room and General Practice
    The Nurse’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Oversee and maintain cleanliness of the medical center
    • Maintain all passenger and crew illness logs according to policy
