Description
Job Summary:
Responds to Emergency situations; staying within the requirements and restrictions of level of training at all times. Administers the best treatment and follow-up plan possible for all Emergency and Non-Emergency Medical situations as they arise. Assists in identifying hazards and assessing the risks and planning practical and effective solutions towards safe working practices in compliance with clients standards.
Duties:
Administers the best treatment and follow-up plan for sick and injured (emergency and non-emergency) personnel according to established medical guidelines; staying within the requirements and restrictions of level of training at all times. Provides both basic and advanced life support, including comprehensive patient assessment, invasive airway management, cardiac monitoring and administration of medications.

Safety Advisor (Medic) - Australia
Location: FIFO
A rewarding FIFO opportunity exists for a Safety Advisor (Medic) at our new Devil Creek Development Project which is currently under construction near Forty Mile Beach, some 42km southwest of Dampier.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordination and monitoring of site safety and health activities
- Development and revising of site safety and health procedures
- Monitor Safety Management System compliance
- Participate in hazard and incident investigations and monitor action closure
- Conduct safety related training and awareness sessions
- Provide medical treatment and incident response support
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5 years or more of practical experience in a hydrocarbon or heavy industry environment
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
- Either Industrial Paramedic, Registered or Enrolled Nurse qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with good computer literacy
