Offshore Medic and Safety Advisor

Working as an integral part of the offshore team we are seeking an experienced Medic to provide comprehensive Medic services and appropriate medical support to all crew, promoting health and safety best practice to all individuals. The medic is the focal point for all health, welfare and safety issues.

The main duties of the role will include:

* Responsibility for the ships medical facilities and medicines
* Managing offshore medical care
* Maintaining records and producing reports where necessary
* Proposing recommendations and improvements to the vessel Master, Party Chief and HSEQ Manager
* Conduct accident and incident investigations as requiredThe ideal candidate must possess the following experience:

* Experience as an offshore medic, a qualified medic or paramedic or have Armed forces field medic experience
* Hold a relevant medical qualification
* Ideally a NEBOSH or recognised Health and Safety Certificate
* Auditing qualifications would also be beneficial in ISO 14001, 18001 or 9001 systems
* Able to travel without restriction on a worldwide basis

You will be based at sea around 180 days over a 12 month period.
